50 Acres of Pure Goodness

Raw milk contains a higher level of nutrients, enzymes, and minerals than pasteurized milk.  For example, heat treated milk contains much lower levels of vitamin C and B.  In addition, enzymes in raw milk are destroyed by heat.

Forbes Magazine has identified raw milk as one of the healthiest foods on the planet, an indication that this most traditional and healthful of foods is increasingly displacing factory milk which triggers allergies and lactose intolerance for many.

Contrary to popular belief, raw milk is one of the safest foods to consume, due to the benefits of modern technology including flash refrigeration and sterilized, automatic milking machines which have reduced the risk of food borne pathogens to a minimal level.

How did this start?

I started this because I was worried.  I was worried about 2 things:  My health and the health of the planet.

I just couldn't eat one more tasteless vegetable or piece of fruit (given up eating meat years ago).  I wanted my Grandmother's garden where I could pick a tomato off the vine and eat it like an apple...letting the juice run down my chin. So, yes, it started with a garden.  Then came the eggs (that question now settled: which came first?). Then I wanted real milk - not the watered down white stuff from the store.

Healthy living is important and I will be happy to help you in your quest!
